Flashing Kits

Choosing The Correct Flashing Kit

Welcome to the Flashing Kit Selection Guide. Follow the steps below to choose the ideal flashing kit for your specific site requirements and ensure a watertight, reliable installation.

Roof Covering?

Step 1

Our Conservation and Neo Rooflights can be installed into a variety of roof finishes.

Both rooflights types can be installed using traditional installation methods (lead soakers or mortar-bed) or you can benefit from our installation flashing kits for both plain tiles and slate.

Installation Pitch?

Step 2

We offer flashing kits for installation pitches between 17.5° and 65°

Installations between 17.5° and 29°

Installations between 30° and 65°

Standard or recessed slate installation?

Step 3

Our Conservation and Neo Rooflights offer two installation heights for slates, standard or recessed.

Recessed installations for slates offer a more sympathetic installation that ensures the glass remains totally flush with the roofline.

Please note, the structural opening size required for your rooflight will differ depending on which flashing kit is used. Please contact us for more details.

Having determined that a recessed, or ‘between-the-rafter’ installation is required, the next step is to calculate the precise structural opening. Our calculator tool provides accurate measurements to support correct specification and installation.
