Artemis Barn

250-year-old Artemis Barn was lovingly restored from its derelict condition and gracefully refurbished into a loving family home by Chiles Evans + Care Architects. Nestled within a strict conservation area in the Peak District National Park, its location and age, meant planning officers provided the necessary guidance to ensure each element of the refurbishment protected this historic property.

Sitting alongside exposed steel, rough-sawn timber and stone walls, the linked Conservation Rooflights provide a bridge between the original course textures and that of the newly plastered white walls, whilst filling the large open triple-height living areas, and surrounding rooms with bright and natural light.

'The Conservation Rooflight is a great looking product that performs well in the context of the barn. We have enjoyed being able to specify this rooflight.'
