The Dell

Set within mature woodland and on a sloped location, The Dell is a family home like no other. The doors and windows chosen needed to maximise the beautiful natural views whilst being sympathetic to its surroundings.

By using Neo® Rooflights with its fine lines, edge-to-edge glazing, and low profile the rooflights sit flush to the roofline with effortless elegance. Internally, the lining to glass®  design ensured the open downstairs living areas were flooded with natural light, maintaining a sleek and stylish design.

The Neo® Rooflights were the perfect solution to the architect’s and client’s vision, combining the highest modern performance standards with a frameless, minimalist appearance both inside and out.

'We chose to specify Neo as there is a good balance between the technical and aesthetic requirements. The appearance externally is low in profile and can be readily designed into the roof detail to be flush with the finish, creating a coherent overall roof plane. The interior detail of the neo has also been very well considered and we really like the way that the reveals can be seamlessly finished to create a lightwell effect without any exposed frames or unsightly architraves.'
